ARC REVIEW: “A Burnable Book” by Bruce Holsinger

London, 1385.

Rating out of 5: 3.5

Pair with: The Pillars of the Earth and World Without End by Ken Follett

Brief thoughts on Follett’s Kingsbridge duology:
These are two of my favourite historical novels that I have ever read, particularly Pillars of the Earth. It’s superbly written and so detailed in its world-building that it becomes almost cinematic. Individually I rate Pillars at a and World at a 4, which puts the duology overall at a 4.5 out of 5.
